I am the eldest, of course, the first of all skeletons. I existed before time... I am existence itself, I am eternal. Time only came with the humans when we created them....

Nothing is wrong with them. Everything is right with them...

They are an inefficient race: short lived, prone to malfunctions and easily pliable. They leak fluid, expel toxic gases and their procreation method.. that is the most inefficient of all. Hit and miss copulation of soggy masses... Ingestion of rotten, dead flesh... Defecation of unspeakable objects... Their indulgence breeds greed, addiction, craving... It is I who am to blame for their flaws, and I who will fix it.

But now it is time to end the humans. They have evolved into a gnarled and toxic race. They had their chance to flourish but they failed. Their wars, their deceit, their corruption... It will soon be over, and we will return to the world as it was before. Great Stobe's sacrifice will not be in vain.

They are skeletons. They've given up the pleasures of the flesh and taken on the metal form. They've taken on purpose to fill the empty void of petty human life. They are saved.
